MrSkippyJ
So, my subs (8 years old) I think are dead. As long as I keep the bass low, it is ok, as soon as I start to crank it, they sound blown. But aside from that, the rest sounds beautiful. I know it is itty-bitty compared to other systems here and since all I did was put door speakers and one amp in, I didn't take any build pictures except for one. But I will show the finished (minus subs) product here. Doors Upper glove box (now hold xovers) Amp with seat in normal position Amp with seat all the way forward Dash? What dash? All this to get the power wire from the battery. MrSkippyJ
More pics! Especially of the subs...what do you have in there? 2 8" JLs. They are very old so I didn't build a (new) box for them, they are still in the box they were in when I had them in my old S-10. I can take some pics of the subs I guess but it really isn't worth seeing. I guess I have to figure out what I want to put in for subs now. S15_Silvia
Damn...I had some like-new Kicker CVR8s but I sold those off a while ago. If you wanna stick with 8s, there's a surprisingly high number of choices... Quote 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. I have no real reason to stick with 8s, I got a great deal on them when I bought them. edit: and on a side note, the RF power series amps SOUND OMG GOOD, I am just blown away by them. S15_Silvia
Oh ok, just didn't know if you wanted to save space and all that. That's the only reason I had my 8s...it would be cool to see a big Scion build on here.
