Now I just need to track down another revo(the guy I was gonna buymy other one off of bailed on me and decided to keep the sub ) Thanks for the help though... Torres Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 sweet hope it works out for ya. tho...i dno how much different it could be without raising the tuning way high. possibly aero ports, but i'm not as familiar with them. they're more efficient than slot ports, so dont need to be as big. but if they need to bend it's not as easy. nice car by the way. take it to any shows? or maybe compete with it? curious as to if i'll possibly see it out somewhere

Torres Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 yep height is still 13.5". i edited the post i had with the pics. noticed i forgot to show that measurement. and your port doesnt physically bend, but as you measure down the middle of it, you'll get a couple extra inches something like this, just not to this extent. the short purple line is the end correction of the port. that piece is straight, but as you get towards the end of your box it effectively bends, to a certain degree.

Torres Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 nope. this stuff used the same way you'd use dowels. they come in various lengths. put some bolts and washers on em and bolt em through the box.

Torres Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 the bracing is pretty strong. you'd just have to get the thicker rod to make up for the length of it. the angle would be a little awkward. what i'd do would be to cut a small ring out, maybe 4" in diameter and glue it where you're going to brace it. then drill straight in as if the drill bit was the rod just a little to kinda give you a little divot. so that way when you put the rod through it, the washer will mount up flush with it straight on. get what i'm sayin?
