saz 1500 question

i currentl;y has a kicker l7 12 with a power acoustik amp that says it will do 900 watts at 2 ohms. i don't really trust it. i am in the process of getting another l7 and using the saz 1500 i bought the other month. but i wanted to test it out on the single l7 i got now. you guys think there will be a problem hooking the 1500 up using 4 gauge if i'm running 2 ohms. or should i wait till i upgrade the batt, wiring, and alt. so i can just run it at 1 ohms like it should be ran.

At 2 ohms 4 awg will be fine.

thanks alot man. do you think the 1500 will push a little to much to the l7's at 1 ohms. i read your clamp test at 1900.

A pair of L7s should be okay on a 1500D @ 1 ohm.

what kind of fuses should i use on it.

The amp has 160 internal... closest you can get is 150 or so, that will work.

At 1 ohm make sure to get 1/0 wire.

front batt--fuse-----------------------rear batt--fuse--amp

or somoething along those lines. also i got a 50.4 for my speakers. should i change the fuse just after the rear batt for that amp.
