thats quite some power for stock electrical, have you even tried big three yet?

you're best bet is to

-upgrade big three in 1/0 **do this first, you may notice a slight difference

-replace starting battery with a deep cycle, kinetik, optima, xs power, c&d ect. as well as running another parallel in the trunk with 2 runs of 1/0 (1 pos, 1 neg full runs)

-upgrade to a H/O alt, i'd get between 220-300a, if plans for upgrading ever

theres couple things that amp likes

higher voltage preout from the deck/linedriver and the gains down

and they like power and from what i see you dont have the power expecially to run at .5 i'd wire it up and add more batts aswell upgrade your big 3 if you havent already

What kind of car is it? If you already have a 160 amp alt is it stock, or upgraded?? Lots of new cars come with 160+ amp alts these days, and sometimes just a small pulley swap can give you big gains..

yeah, stock 100amp alt cant handle all that power, thats gonna need a definate upgrade... but you dont have the cash now you said so your gonna have to keep it down till you can afford it.. lol

i think i would get a H/O alt first though... well of course, after big three upgrade done in 1/0
