cichlidfort
My friend has a 99 tahoe with two L7 15s and the vibrations are to much for the headunit so it cuts in and out, got any advice on how to solve this, sorta like ruber mount? 2008 Chevy Impala (undercover cop style) Setup in the makings
Boon
Not a lot you can do really. Sometimes a rubber mount just makes it worse. Changer, ipod or usb stick. Or a better deck that does buffering. 10.x volts fo' life!
baggedon4s
what kind of h/u???? I put a solo x 18 in a 99 tahoe, and 4 l7 15s in another, and never had a problem with the h/u skipping. Make sure its locked in the dash (pushed in till the mounting kit clicks in) if the mounting kit has bolts holding the clips that secure it in the dash are tight, and the cage is locked in good. 99 suburban, ranger rover headlights, SS front bumper, roll pan with frenched tag, 2nd row delete, glassed dash..audio to come whenever I figure out what I want. kl0wn
I got the same problem, I just keep the volumes and gains on the H/U low whenever I have a CD in. And just plug the iPod up through the AUX when I wanna play at full tilt. That's pretty much all you can do if you are skipping due to bass. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Carlos Tj
whats a CD? haha jp i dont think anyone that has a system that really hits hard uses CD's for that same reason (skipping) if he spent some money on the system why not give the HU an upgrade and get something where u can run an ipod/mp3 player, flash drive etc. something that does not have moving parts in them so it doesnt skip at all... 2005 Dodge Magnum Kenwood DNX573S Double Din NVX Big 3 Kit NVX 0 Gauge Cable & speaker cable XS Power V3100 Battery Iraggi Alternator 320A 3.5" NVX Speakers 6.5" Incriminator Audio Components (just mids) 6x9" NVX Speaker MVPA4 Amplifier (2) 12" NVX VCW Subwoofers XPLD3K NVX Amplifier YouTube Channel @CarlosTj664
