Marlo Stanfield
o.k thanks i got it.. i will be working on it probally next weekend and i will post up some build pics for everyone..does anybody have pics of the boxes they have or made for there orions..? and would a orion 2500d amp be better then my zapco 1100.1 ? I used to run HCCA 15s and they are pretty inefficient woofers, so they need a good amount of power to really shine... Yes, the Orion 2500D(the silver model from like 3+ years ago) is a much better choice for that woofer. Even at 2ohms the Orion will still be doing 1700w or so and is a pretty bulletproof amp for the most part. As far as box suggestions, if you're planning on running the 2500D then I'd suggest around 1.75ft3 @ 35hz w/ 30in^2 of port. If you're sticking with the Zapco(also a great amp, just doesn't do a ton of power) then I'd suggest like 2ft3 @ 35hz w/ 30in^2 of port. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride...
