EricR Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 probably going to swap the mayhem for a warden next month, im also going to get another roll of this hpm in grey for my 2 runs of - so it will all match. its so easy to work with, like a wet noodle. But its all up and playing, i can tell its noticeably louder than when i had it on the saz3kd. i will post a few more pics of how its all setup in the trunk tomorrow, got dark on me. there is only about an inch on both sides of the amp sitting on the floor of the trunk up against the back seat, fits pretty good. got both c&d's on the right of the trunk with 2 runs going from each batt then to the amp. it all fit pretty nicely there was only about an inch or so between the batts and the box. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

I was hoping to see what it would do at 1 ohm on that Warden. I read somewhere to stay away from the 7k amps like the Atomic and Cactus because the boards were so long and not supported properly that it didn't take very much vibration to let the smoke out. How close was your's mounted to the box? EricR Posted January 3, 2010 Author Report Posted January 3, 2010 nah see thats what was weird is there was no smoke. it just goes into protect when it powers on. probably an easy fix but i wanted to sell it anyways edit...and it was not mounted to my box, i never have and never will mount an amp to my box for that reason i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
