All the amps are also moved, and once i cover in carpet youll never know what kinda of wood it is. at least its real big chunky particle board or whatever 2002 FORD EXPLORER PACKED WITH SOME CHEAP SUBWOOFERS! spl4life Posted December 22, 2009 Report Share Posted December 22, 2009 Not bad for one of your first builds... lol i use to have sonys... everyone has to start somewhere... i understand if cash is short... and cant afford MDF... its ridiculously expensive on my island.. $63 a sheet and if theyre out.. theyre out for months... so i use 3/4 in indoor mahogany plywood IMO its better then partical board... jus make sure its braced real good... jus as a tip... try not to cut corners... it may hurt you in the long run... i think i heard this form one of the members signature... "People what there system to be: Cheap, Reliable, Loud.... you can only choose 2..." My first truck...
