What's needed for an alarm?

Recommended Posts

I mean, my car is stock. no auto locks windows, anything like that. Idk if I have a security system or anything. I just dont understand how an alarm plays into the car, because If i dont have an alarm then how does that alarm know when to go off? Like if they break a window or try to break in or something, how does the alarm know when to go off? I just dont want to buy this alarm and install it and it not work lke its supposed to.

SO BOLD = ?

Thanks

Sorry but if you don't know how a alarm work's you have no business Trying to installing one. For your information the alarm go's off with the door trigger on the door's. The shock sensor sent the alarm off by the vibration's of a impact to your car. Please find a good local shop for your alarm needs. Get a DEI Alarm. Viper, Python, so on try to get a 2way remote. Ask for a prices on two power actuators for your door lock's. This will make your manual door lock's work with your alarm.

Like Mendozauly said, depending on the accessories used, it will receive inputs of a door ajar, hood and/or trunk ajar, shock sensor, glass sensor, tilt sensor, etc. The battery backups that I got from DEI have a trigger output for when battery power is lost.
