ISO
no for daily...no no noyes for burps Andy who ya sayin No for daily too? If its me, I have a good bit of experience running L7s and in that time I've gotten to use most of the versions (no 08,09 exp) all 10 inch under many different power levels and with a variety of enclosures and I'm very comfortable with the power recomendations I offered. I would prefer he stay with a 750 watt amp that has a sub-sonic filter on it, if hes ported. I've never blown a set of L7s in my life but I had have had issues with the spider on them. Edit: ever time I had any mechanical issues from the spider, it was always from when I used to run lower powered amps but never had a problem with them since I have been running them closer to their RMS. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. "Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go." Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The Destruction of a person builds character.

Stallion Marauder
Just was curious if a kicker L7 can handle 2k watts. If you tell us the correct sub size then maybe we'd have a better clue um its a mtx amp not sure the name :/ Yes the model number would help too! Why not just check to see exactly what amp it is to be sure?? But if it says 1k rms then you will be just fine. 15" L7s can be run up to around 1500w daily as long as you're avoiding clipping. Funny how you can predict an L7 15 can handle 1500 watts.. I hope your not talking about a single L7 15' taking that many watts are you? IMO I'd like to see how long that L7 15' last in your hands.. If its a 15 and up I say yes. If its a 12, then no, especially for daily. For some reason the 15 can handle more, Actually a Kicker L7 15 is really an 18' sub.. Kicker just didnt wanna tell ya...No seriously it is in the right box it should hold 2k No single L7 12' is gona handle 2k.. especially in a ported.. Its a 12 and its in the pre fab box.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KICKER-VS12...rsQ5fEnclosures Thats the same thing i have. ^^^^ Ok now since we know what kind of box and sub it is, dont feed the sub more than 750 rms.. Especially in ah ported I'd go ah lil bit below the specs... 2003 Mercury Marauder Black (R.I.P) Tinted Windows Purple HID's 10000K Fog Light HID's 10000K Swi Jack Steering Wheel Controls Apple I-Pod Classic 80GB Alpine KCE-422i Full Speed I-Pod Cable Alpine IVA-W203/P1 Navigation/Bluetooth Alpine PKG-M780 7' Headrest Screens Alpine PXA-H701 Sound Processor Alpine MRP-F300 4 Channel Amp Rockford Fosgate 1501bd Power Amp 2 Kicker L7 15' Solo Barics Alpine Type R SPR-17S Component's Alpine Type R SPR-57C Coaxial's Monster Performance RCA's 0/2 Gauge Wires BIG III W/Fuse 200 Amps Custom Built Alternator Yellow Cap Optima Battery Front Xstatic Batcap 800 Back Custom Mounted Bass Knob LED's 2x License & Trunk Light BoYo VTK-350 Color Backup Camera Dynamat Xtreme Front Doors & Rear Deck Clifford Matrix 50.7X Alarm System/Remote Start

WALL OF TEXT Thank you for breaking down every post on the last 3 pages. ONLY the last comment was necessary. Keep it short and simple. Also, why is every word capitalized? Does your Shift key have Tourettes? Is Caps Lock having a seizure? I don't get it. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . Guest
is an l5 15in an 18in sub if so why woulddnt the tell me. An what does that make a 18 inch solo x a funkypup 15" square speaker has about 196sqin of cone area (using a 14" cone). and an 18" circle sub has 254.47sqin of cone area (straight from a thread on here). 15" kicker = 18" round? i think not edit: stallon has to read up on some things first IMO
