so i been doing some brainstorming and playing with some numbers tomorrow i will go do some measurement to see if it will work. i am gonna try and do a clamshell 4th order basically it will be 16 10s 8 slanted up and 8 slanted down for a total of 8 cubes each then i will have it shooting into 25cubes with 300 sq inches of port.

sealed box 30h x 48w x 13d

ported in closure 30h x 55w x 30d

  • 2 months later...

Got any pics of the wall? I had a couple different walls behind the rear seats, and am currently doing a wall with 4 18's behind the front seats...

starting on my wall behind the rear seats soon. can you post pics of the walls you had in yours?

^^^^ thanks ^^^^ really diggin the amp rack on the second build. i started the build but i still havent made my mind up about what im putting in yet. Still waiting on our new lines to show up at the shop. was thinking 8 12s ported or 12 10s sealed (ported if its big enough)

Unless you're walling it behind the B-pillar, theres no way you have the airspace for 8 12's or 12 10's... But, good luck with it, and lets see some pics...

measured it agian today, i have 20 cu ft to work with. could probably get another 2or 3 feet if i glass the tub and sides. not really wanting to do that though. only pics i got is the laying sound deadening. almost half way there.lol

I'd love to see you get that in there... I wish you luck with that... And yes, Glassing the rear floor and sides is the only way I see to do it. I hope you can prove me wrong and fit it all in there... Again, nice job so far and keep the pics comming...

thank you.. i think im leaning toward sealed. no problem with airspace that way.
