should have 0ga in the truck soon so i can run the big amp. got my alarm/remote start installed. i bought an autopage c3-rs730lcd, and an xpress kit bypass module, got all of it for $200 and installed it all here at the casa. gonna put the same one in the wife's car in a few weeks.

also, got some breakage in the truck already, broke the rear overhead light had it hanging in the back of the truck. the overhead a/c controls are loose as hell now too, and my driver front door window has developed a rattle now too. this thing loves to play brutal lows, i love it.

i got the same remote start on my truck for 289 installed w/ lifetime warranty, gotta love walking outside to a warm car

so, today i did the hi4 mod on my tahoe, so the high and low beams are on when i turn on the high beams. helps alot even just on regular bulbs, should be awesome on the 8000k hids in the lows/highs! its really easy i got the info from fsc forums. also my tahoe is an 02. i don't think this works on 03 and newer, or the older body style, just 99-02.

this is quoted from the post i got the info from...

1) Open hood

2) Remove brace from firewall to Driver's side fender.

3) remove top of Circuit panel

4) unhook the snaps from the passenger and drivers side of the cover...look hard they are there!

5) Roll entire circuit board over towards the passenger side.

6) Locate the Grey connector...there is only one.

7) at location D3 (3rd down 4th to the right) is a light gauge yellow wire. It is the only yellow wire in this row.

Tap this wire and ground it to the Light ground on the firewall. Follow the lead from the Hood mounted light, and you will find it ...just to the left (YOUR OTHER LEFT!!!) of the Master Cylinder.

9) Put your stuff back together...you are done...arent you glad you kept that cover?

pull the top panel off the fuse box, the the outer housing has two tabs on the side facing the passenger side, it comes right off. the there is a tab right against the fender edge, this will allow you to rotate the fuse panel up. there is two tabs where it rotates you can undo to make it easier also. the connector is on the bottom on the right, you will see it.

the harness on the right of the pic, there is a yellow wire pulled out from the rest, this corresponds with location d3 i just made the connection here as it was easier.

make your connection just like wiring an alarm

i grounded on the inside of the fender right by the fuse box, short run, hidden away.

not for 02's. 99-02 had the din and a half headunit. i've just never gotten around to prettying up the dash wgere it was trimmed at. i may redo that whole situation eventually.
