2 FI Q 18

yeah..and I thought just about any sub could hit the lows in the right box..also what would be a good box size for the beastly FI Q 18s FI recomends 4-8 per sub so would a 10 cubic foot box work

yeah 10 cubes would be fine just tune it right

Tuned to 32hz? Will that be good will it still get low

Okay. Well I just read on the site to tune it from 28-33hz so should I do 30. I have heard that 28 wont do real good for daily driving

I don't think the Q's get lower, because the recommended tuning for the enclosure is lower, people will tune it lower thus making it louder on lower notes.(for the Q's)

So most Q's will be tuned lower then BL's.(generally)

If you would tune the BL to 32hz, like the Q, i think the BL would get louder on the lower notes, and higher notes.

So you would be better off buying the Q's.

But if u want 18's make sure, you have enough room, the net volume of the box needs to be 10 cu ft.

So total volume with port and woofer and bracing displacement would probably be more then 12cu ft.
