my port is really close to my cargo door, but i try to keep it pushed foward as much as i can, ive been thinking about just trying to switch my box around so my port is facing foward.

Its supposed to be as many inches away from the back as the port is wide. This is what was choking my box off at first.

Edit: Could you move your batts and just slide your box away from the back hatch about 6-8 inches? Maybe make a little rack for your amp and batts so the amp could be up and down so it doesn't take up so much room.
