don't run power wire through the door jam

don't use drywall screws to secure ground eyelets to the chassis/frame

don't add a power wire eyelet to a factory GM side terminal post

don't try to do an install while rushed

don't believe the myths about bass boost; do your research as there are many great posts on this site about it

electrical tape is NOT a safe way of connecting wires lol

my patna used to use the hell out some tape.. needless to say he hasn't touch a thing on my new system

Definitely take your time. I have shit that I've had for a while now because I haven't had the proper time to install it. When you rush...it'll show.

i learnt this the hard way but make sure you have all your wires connected properly before you turn your system on for the first time

i lost 2 amps doing this :(
