"Similarly, Koenig names car audio equipment as being the number two contender for 2009's epic sales failures. "In the automotive technology space, portable electronics like iPods, MP3 players and GPS systems are more popular than installable car stereos," he says. Koenig notes that automakers are now designing cars that have built-in amplifiers and portable media outlets so even top-notch car stereo systems are not selling to boot. He also mentions that anything analogue is having a tough time in any market. Forevrbumpn Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 ^^ I think the reason why sales are down is based on Mainstream, a lot of people are going with factory direct companies, as stated post above I know those are not a part of the numbers on that website Even though realistically all the good brands mentioned above still probably isn't even 5% of car audio sales, I'am sure its effecting the store bought mainstream sales due to all the internet, and forum sales Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
