SJClark09
Well, I finished my build this morning. But whenever I go to play a game, after about 10 or 20 mins my screen just goes black and I have to re-start my system. Also when I try to change the graphic settings (to high settings and to a different resolution) it takes even less time for my screen to black out. I have the latest drivers for my video card. Thanks in advance Quote Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door.

S15_Silvia
You made sure to install all the motherboard and chipset drivers too, right? Also you do have the 6-pin PCIe power cable on the power supply plugged into the video card, and not a molex adapter? SJClark09
Well I have dual channel ram. Maybe I have it in the wrong slots? On some videos it said to put the ram in the same color slots, but on some others it said put them in right next to each other. I have mine right next to each other at the moment, maybe I should try switching them? Quote Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door. SJClark09
Yeah I have a 6 pin PCI plugged into my card. I didn't install those other drivers though, where can I get those at? That's probably the problem. Quote Who ever said nothing is impossible never tried to slam a revolving door.
S15_Silvia
If you have 2 sticks of ram, always run them in the same color slots. Actually, go by what the motherboard's manual says because sometimes it varies. That's probably the problem. The disc that came with the motherboard, you should pop that in and install the drivers for chipset, built-in sound, ethernet and so on. Basically install every driver on it except for RAID and all the free crapware they throw on there.
