SocoJoe
Got into my car about 30 minutes ago to get some lunch on my break, turned ipod on and went on my way and noticed the "Demo" was on and going, I have had that off since I got the deck. So I turn in back to the time display (didn't notice it was about an hour and a half off from actual time). Started thinking wtf? and looked at all my settings and there were back to default I guess. So what would cause the deck to reset back to factory? It's a shit sony deck I got over a year ago but it hasn't gave me any problems until tonight The Setup 2009 Volkswagen Jetta 2 Alpine SWR-1222D's in 2 seperate boxes tuned to 33hz 1 Kicker ZX1001.1 Stock 140A Alt Stock speakers

barros57
that. or bad ground, you ever disconect he batterty?what H/U? Some have a reset button behind the faceplate. There is a slight possibility there is a short or something there. Do you only have 1 battery? I would check the + and - wires on the radio. Unless it happens again I wouldnt really worry too much about it. SocoJoe
Will have to look and make sure everything is still snug and not loose. Like I said it just happened I guess today some time? Cuz it was fine yesterday, unless friend that was in car fucked with my settings while I wasn't looking or when I ran in store. But why would the time and demo be on? So I am leaning toward the fact is reset it self. Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure that it has a loose connection or is shorting somewhere. Or it's just a shit deck. . formerly known as Jaylor Swift
bassprodigy
bad memory wire? check the connection on the red (i think red is memory/12v constant) wire and make sure its strong. on the radio, itd be the yellow, red is ignition......... but yea, its either something internal with the unit, or something with the constant wire..... honestly its more likely in the unit, unless your battery was dead or disconnected... 2003 Toyota Sequoia Pioneer 4100dvd Memphis PR6.5 3ways in all four doors Memphis PR 15s (4) Memphis PR 1.1000 (2) Memphis PR 4.50 (1) Optima Yellowtop (2) Viper 5901 8000k H.I.D. kit 15% tint (2layers)
