77-AUDIO Posted December 29, 2009 Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) Since my brother had knee surgery I have his truck. This system will be pieced together as the equipment is aquired. This build will consist of AMPS Rockford 600.2, 300.2, and a 200.2. SUBS Rockford 8" svc 4ohm. MIDS Unknown HIGHS Unknown HEADUNIT sone sort of DVD with Nav. The box is 3.2^3 tuned to 35htz 59w x 8d x 17t with 39" of port. Subs front port up. And the amps are going to be mounted at an angle on top of the box I am going to go ahead and run all of the wires to all of the door jams for future speaker replacement in the doors. Since I have to rip out the interior to install the amps might as well run all needed wire. The amps are going to be run like this. 600.2 for the subs 300.2 for the front doors 200.2 for the rear doors. The box is built with the possibility of up grading to larger subs like 10" DC's or some RE's.. I also need to talk to him about getting some sound deadner for the inside of the truck but who knows if he will do it since hes not into competing. Also I have about 3 days to build the box and get it what he has installed. I have it put a notch on the back thats 16" x 12" x 2.5" for the sliding rear window motor, and also for the subs displacement. And it's not an 8 it's a pair of 8's JUST SAYING. So the box is right around 1.25+/- per sub after all the factors are in. where da pics at darryl? Read the entire post. instead of post jumping you know the rules... I have some pics but it was late when I picked up the truck so I didnt get time to load them. I will post build pics tonight if I dont forget. also JUST SAYING And it was cold and I had to make tacos for dinner last night and my brother-in-law is over for a couple days and he has his 4 kids. lot of cooking lastnight. had to cook for 10 people last night. Wanna come over and help Coleman you are more than welcome. talk about a crunch time good luck bro I started thing about it I have 3 days andter I work 8hrs to just get the box and wires run. will not be up and running till the 600.2 comes in and I havent asked if he wants me to hook it up to the factory radio for the time being.
