ATLien Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 Those baskets look segsy! Very similar to Fi. I think I blew my 2 RF HX2 12" today. They sound like shit on the higher notes and they were alright yesterday. Bought em used and the cone is really easy to push. I don't know enough about subs unfortunately.
jmanjr82 Posted January 1, 2010 Author Report Posted January 1, 2010 you could get recones for your subs im sure, you would just have to tear them down an get exact measurements (using a caliper) an get in touch with people that can provide you with parts, if your new at it (you are obviously) then a drop in would be best for you, having to build recones is a pain in the dick somtimes. That is a pretty common basket actually. I believe the first gen T3 TSS subs had this basket as well and plenty of others
ATLien Posted January 1, 2010 Report Posted January 1, 2010 What price range is it to recone subs? Just a ball park would do. I'd love to learn how either way. I have a somewhat decent amp so I'm looking at either finding brand new subs or reconing the Hx2s.
