mwerling1212
i would seek out the problem before you sell it. There must be something wrong with your setup to were you would not like the sound.

tristan560
After running my SSD's for awhile now, i sure can tell you theres gotta be something up with your setup. My 4 15's out performed by old btl 18s big time. Night and day difference. Great subs, and they can take the power if your smart with them. Its not exactly about the equipment ran, its in the quality install. Hell theres a guy on here doing a 150 with 2 ssd tens. tristan560
Oh i see it now....grab a better amp and see how you like it. I ran my 4 15s off of 2 hifonics 2600's and they were put to shame by my Stetsom. Quote 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww. slim2fattycake
After running my SSD's for awhile now, i sure can tell you theres gotta be something up with your setup. Its not exactly about the equipment ran, its in the quality install. Hell theres a guy on here doing a 150 with 2 ssd tens. where? link? lol. I am doing 140 with a 30 amp fuse on my amp and mid 140s with no fuse limit outta a trunk. My box isn't even really geared towards SPL. With my port plug in, I get a tuning of 34hz and it sounds amazing on any music. This has to be user error. pictures and descriptions of your install and what exactly is the sound quality that you don't like because you may not even know what real sound quality means or we aren't exactly interpreting sound quality to what you want. ps. I have had a single 12" SSD with flatwind coils and bp option with a Bxi1206 and a Bxi1606 and it sounded fine even in a prefabbed box. I also had the 12 SSD in the house in 1 cubed sealed and it sounded great. I, now, have two 10" SSDs with copper coils and bp option using an ap30001d amp wired at 4 ohms. Neel
Dont blame the sub , blame the box , amp , install , lack of processing and tuning , etc. Your sub is not the weak link in your system , take the time to make it work instead of complaining that its sound quality is not what you wanted. A speaker will only sound as good as the enclosure and room that it is in. Quote Too Much Stuff to list .

slim2fattycake
That was your fault for wanting an 18 and now not. But what is it about the 18 that you don't like? Do you want the space back? You can build a smaller box.
