I've been using my type r's for sometime in my daily driver, I like them. I would try for the amp in my sig to run your two Type R's. Are they 1242D's? If so the Hifonics 1610D is stable at a 1Ohm load, and you can wire the 1242D's down to a 1Ohm load. It's $219.99 at Sonicelectronix.com It's where I bought mine not too long ago. I was previously running 2 of them on a older Hifonics 1208D and it worked great.. Hifonics 1610D - Sonic Electronix Hope this Helps!
