anyway--------------anyways is not a word.

we all started off somewhere, i had 2 blue pioneer subs off a crunch 2channel amp. just get you a nice amp for the alpines

2 AQ 10'' HDC3 copper subs

1 3500d AQ amp

146.3db on TL with stock electrical in single cab truck at 32hz

RESULT: 1st place at comp, 3rd overall out of 20 cars

Dude, its alright. My first system was a kicker comp 12 and a Sony Xplod 1200, we all start somewhere. I've been using my type r's for sometime in my daily driver, I like them.

I would try for the amp in my sig to run your two Type R's.

Are they 1242D's?

If so the Hifonics 1610D is stable at a 1Ohm load, and you can wire the 1242D's down to a 1Ohm load.

It's $219.99 at Sonicelectronix.com It's where I bought mine not too long ago. I was previously running 2 of them on a older Hifonics 1208D and it worked great..
