fox_racin4 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 ?@Fox racin4 cubes each, he says, and 4 cubes for a 15 is quite big, but not too big.(if you're feeding them RMS rating!) 150db's with 2 15's is quite hard with a tuning of 33hz, but i hope you can pull it off. i read his 1st post wrongg i thought he was upgrading to 15s and had 10s or 12s befor the 15s with the right box 1000 to each should e do able i run 1500 to each daily for a few songs at a time with no issues but my box is built around the power im using as well Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
Rst Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Yeah i ran my 2 15s each in 4cuft (8cuft with devider) tuned to 33hz and I got a respectable 148.x db on dash. Not sure how many cubes walled to run the pair on now and at what tuning .... Quote
The A Team Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 i had my 12's in a 4.3 cf tuned to 43 hz and it would get very smelly playing full tilt maybe 2-3 mins, coils a lil crispy haha but I now know to build my own enclosures and im sure they can take alot of power, just curious tho A-team what the box cf3 and tuning was, so I can consider for my next box. Both installs were 3 cubes net shared 40 Hz, one is a slot port the other is a 6" aero. Mine was with the 6" aero and the 4k2d in my blazer would a 148 burp and sounded amazing. Quote
Rst Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 You see, Ive heard people using smaller enclosures are getting a better scores, But im woundering will the 2 lvl3 15s be enough for the wall? Quote

Rst Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 Hmm, I have heard this in the past, Still needing that wall but wondering weather 8cuft is going to be too large for the 2 woofers. I have no rear seats anymore therefore wanting to try the wall. I will use these woofers in my new car someday in a boot only install. Any ideas if people have used 2 lvl3s in a wall before, as i have seen 4 12's but never 2 15's Quote
