Take them off its better to sport 14" rims in the winter then sport rusted ass rim in the summer. Better safe then sorry

Co-signed. In MN they coat everything with salt big time....so they come off yearly! I even give the rims a coating of WD-40 for while they sit during the winter to ensure no issues. You pay enough for the rims/tires to just let them go to crap over the winter. IMO

i def dont need any rust on them. i guess ill take them off i just wanted to make sure it would be worth while to go out and do it as cold as it is in VA lol

It's not worth it especially if you find rust on them. Not to mention a lot of the low pro tires (I am assuming you have) don't get the best traction in snow and such...so for safety reasons I have always taken mine off

I say take them off till spring, if you never needed to do it then you wont have lost anything. But if you leave them on and somethin happens you'd be pissed. I guess the moral is "better safe than sorry."

I seen an infomercial on the speed channel one day about Eagle One. They had a rim cleaner that seemed to work amazingly. They did a little test by cleaner two of the rims on one side of a Wrangler then left the other side without. Went through mad mud and the side they cleaned didnt have a drop of mud or dirt on it. I believe this is the stuff but not 100% sure.
