Port and TL

This question probably depends on several variables, but, would it be louder for the driver if the port was behind the passenger seat in a wall?

Which is why people port behindn the drivers seat for the TL?

thats how i have my box.

I have two ports i use on the tl, but for daily i plug one of the ports, the one behind the driver seat to lower tuning. Not really sure though, i could put my car on the meter and find out sometime

do they sound similar to you? as far as loudness and air movement? Obviously they are different tuning.... But i bought all the wood for my build and i was thinking, im not going to be metering, i want it loud for me, i could care less about the passenger side windshield

u want to give enuf room for the wave to hopefully fully expand at the windshield on the passenger side

to do this most of the time the port is on the drivers side so all the pressure collects where the meter is at

so for a louder drivers seat u would put port on passenger side

personally i dont care about dash scores/kick scores, my head is never there, headrest to me is the ultimate TL score

yes.

Best of both worlds is a slot port across the bottom of the wall.

ive been in a loud walled altima with port down the center top to bottom that does great tl #s too
