J Dubb
So I got a 15" AudioQue HDC3 Series sub and along with it I bought a 1200W AQ Amp. But someone told me that would be way to much power for the sub and it would blow so to not turn the music up high. How do i know how high i can have the volume? J Dubb
Idk if this matters but the sub is Dual 2 Ohm
cqtama
yea so wire it down to one ohm and set your amp with a dmm or o-scope. its rated at 1000 rms, and will take more than as long as your giving it a clean signal, no clipping Quote R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. corey0928
Maybe you should take it to a local shop and have it installed and tuned. And there is no way that amp is too much power for that sub.
