comp rules what class would i be in

what class will i have to enter and what type of compitition should i try? i have never competed but i have read the rules and i am going to the next comp within 200 miles of central ohio. it looks like street exstreme because i have a full size van. my curent setup is 2 sets of pioneer comps in the lower door panels on a 4 chanel amp 2 DC level 5s 18" on four 3000.1 audiopipes, box tuned @39hz 2 ho alts 4 batts. will i need a engine kill switch like i read and if so where would you hook up a kill switch

if your box is above the window line (or more than 25 inches) you will be in SS1-2, if it is below, you can enter super street no wall.

1997 Astro

front:6 sets of T3 componets

Subs: 8 level 5 18"s (building 6th order BP)

Amps: 4 really big ones (totalling just shy of 50K)

Batts:

Alt: Ohio Generator

1996 Chevy Suburban

Sub amp: A fifth really big amp

Subwoofer: 2-15" DC Level 4 XL

Batts: C&D high rate--(x4)

first of all ssnw is a class for db drag what he is descibing isounds like usac. your best bet is to go to the website of the compettion entity and look at the vehical classifications.

sorry i thought since he was in the heart of db drag he wanted to play with the big boys

There are many organizations. You should find what organizations are holding shows in your area.

dB Drag is the most prevelant in Ohio.

I suggest posting this in the competition section, you will have better results.

dB Drag is the most prevelant in Ohio.

I suggest posting this in the competition section, you will have better results.

do whatever comps you can. they all can be fun in their own way. but each org has different rules. just find out what one you are going to and find those rules but also you can just show up and the judge will inspect and place you in the classs that you are best suited for.
