  7. they used to be all carbon fiber cone and dustcap, and it was true carbon fiber. that recone looks like ass. no offense if its someone on here, just looks better the other way.
  8. i was tunedpretty low, and had 4K to each woofer. Clay is right, every install will be different. I wasnt going for loudest, i was going for sounding loud and low.
  9. I am looking to buy motors that ar bigger in size. it has to have atleast 3" coil. I dont need a basket or other parts. I am willing to pay, just let me know what you have. Feels good getting back in the game
  10. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=67345 like uhoh said, with that power you will better off with a XL. I happen to be selling some
  11. whats funny to me is that is a normal snow storm for buffalo. If it were during the week, they prolly wouldnt even cancel school. A few years ago, we got over 7 feet of snow in 1 storm. I do feel for ya a little, sucks to shovel your driveway, for it to keep snowing, then after shovelling for the 5th time, the snow plow that has been sitting at the local dunkin donuts finally comes and plows your street so now you have the bottom 8 feet of your driveway piled with 2 feet of the thickest heaviest snow imaginable. Arizona lookin real good at that point
  12. I too am selling some 15" 4XL woofers, they were only used at 1 show http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...mp;#entry947909
  13. just because an amp shares a board, the internal components could be very different. there are little subtlties that you could never see from a pic on your screen (extremely unlikely) . out of all the amps listed aove, i would say the AB amp is the strongest and most reliable
  14. i am selling some 15" Level 4XL's that are in like new condition.
  15. here's the link. http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/s...ead.php?t=27432 They are half mine, but i never have time to sell stuff online anymore. Woofers are in perfectr shape, ship in original packaging
  16. um, try bringing your tuning up a little, if that doesnt help, try bringing it down. more power usually helps.
  17. check out www.termpro.com look at the event locator. I am sure there will be atleast 25 shows this summer that are within your state this year. plus a bunch in surrounding states. Dont be afraid to drive to a show, meeting people is the best weay to get loud. A 3X event usually brings out the bigger names which is always fun.
  18. where in ohio are you? there is a certified DB drag judge in the area, and i think he still does usac. From what i heard, he puts on a pretty good show. After you go to a few shows, you'll be hooked like the rest of us.
  19. sorry i thought since he was in the heart of db drag he wanted to play with the big boys
  20. if your box is above the window line (or more than 25 inches) you will be in SS1-2, if it is below, you can enter super street no wall.
  21. i too have used this wood, worked just fine. The box looks nice, would nice to see a vid and some final pics. Way too much bullshit drama on here lately. Thats the major reason i wont go to ca.com anymore. Mods need to get this shit under control.
  22. i have dual 1 ohm and dual 2 ohm your choice. WW is 2.25"
