Decaf
How's this look guy's? Not the cleanest but not so dirty. Thug - Slim Thug meh, whatever u did isnt what hes doing, otherwise technically there should be less clipping, i see plenty without downloadin it and using audacity to zoom in i tried doing what i think he's doing, and yeah it cleans it up some, but u have to have a great ear to know what to eq back up from compressing it so much and lowerin levels... its just not a fool proof 1-5 step process, its gonna be more difficult than that music is so dynamic the problem will be that it doesnt work on all songs, or it takes awhile to figure it out and few people have the patience to figure out audacity, let alone pro tools or fruity loops... lol still waiting for update
ben29555
I have ran into sort of a problem. In order to make the bass clean the track has to be split. the top being the highs and the bottom being the lows when your done cleaning up the lows and equalizing the highs down you have to combine the 2 back together. the only why that i know how to do this is by recording, but after recording the track i get popping noises throughout the song they look like this only way i have found to get them out is by going through and cutting them out but that would take a good hour for each song. So dose anyone know of a way i can merge the tracks without recording or remove the popping sound? My Build Log loud bass songs
brsteinbach
If you export the two tracks as an MP3 they merge into a stereo track. But first I think you should make each track mono. 2 Infinity Reference 1252w 12s 4.2 cubic foot box tuned to 28hz Sub amp: 1 Profile AP1200 Speaker amp: 1 Sony Xplod XM-504z Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X492 4 and 8 Gauge Knu Big III In 1/0 All in my 90 Accord Diamonds are forever, but 9's end that shit fast.... Decaf
once uve remastered the highs and lows go to select all... then project... then quick mix after that copy the whole mono song go to project, then new audio track paste onto new audio track then go to arrow pointing down next to beginining of song and select make stereo track u shouldnt have to use the recording ever

Decaf
problem is once i go back to raise the levels after all the work to get it a "loud" enuf level, clipping shows back up so far it doesnt work "all the time" ill get screen shots if i can of side by side comparisons... in otherwords, yes some clipping is being eliminated but its jeapordizing alot to do that im still trying to work out kinks so to speak
dwz
well u are onto something broso u set ut lpf at say 15k hpf on old audacity is either 89hz or 45hz, nothing in between (after u do hpf, go to undo and then go to hpf, it will say either 89 or 45, weird huh) u should use a 30 band eq so u can fine tune everything, thats what i do thank you jesus i finally found it
