kx519
I've had some 12v LED hideaway police lights for a while and i thought they were pretty cool but i rarely use them, so i want to use them for some flashing lights in my truck. But i dont want to use the module that came with them, id rather have them flash to the bass. So my question is, Can i wire them in-line with my speakers or on an empty channel and have the flash with the bass? 84 K5 Blazer 3" body, 2" Suspension 35" Maxxis Bighorn 100amp Alt Marine deep cycle for the amps (freebie) KnuKonceptz 1/0 8 Hifonics HFi 12D4's in ~19cubes tuned to 35hz Audiopipe AP-18001D RF 5x8's in the kicks Almani 5.25 comp. in back Kenwood KAC-645 --IN THE FUTURE-- None. <!--quoteo(post=0:date=Feb 3 2010, 09:12 AM:name=Decaf)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Decaf @ Feb 3 2010, 09:12 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->we seriously need some butt plugs so you guys stop spewing chit talk<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

No, not unless you have a module designed to work with the particular AC voltage and current that is coming out of the amp. Which doesnt exist so you would have to design and build it. crazyfrazz09
i dont believe you can just wire them to an empty channel on the amp. on leds that flash with music they have a sensitivity module built in, that is what makes them react to the "thump" but if you wire one side to ground and the other to the remote lead i believe they will flash, just not to the beat of your music. 1998 jeep grand cherokee future teardown and rebuild: 2-15.4 orion hcca's sub amp undecided 2 sets of components 1-concept amp (mids/highs) undecided h.o. alt 2-yellow tops

Well i have an almani crossover that has LEDs in it and they work just fine, they're wired to the woofer terminal. so unless they make an AC LED, i dont see why it wouldnt work. 84 K5 Blazer 3" body, 2" Suspension 35" Maxxis Bighorn 100amp Alt Marine deep cycle for the amps (freebie) KnuKonceptz 1/0 8 Hifonics HFi 12D4's in ~19cubes tuned to 35hz Audiopipe AP-18001D RF 5x8's in the kicks Almani 5.25 comp. in back Kenwood KAC-645 --IN THE FUTURE-- None. <!--quoteo(post=0:date=Feb 3 2010, 09:12 AM:name=Decaf)--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Decaf @ Feb 3 2010, 09:12 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->we seriously need some butt plugs so you guys stop spewing chit talk<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Boon
Because the resistance of an LED is also known as three fifths of fuck-all. Enjoy your blown amp. 10.x volts fo' life!
