$100 - What battery would YOU recommend?

Recommended Posts

talk to a local battery company, the batteries in my truck were just shy of 50 bucks each for large group 31's :) also if you do have issues with it the company is local and they often give you a warrenty on them

Well, I've been emailing a local guy about Deka batteries but I have no idea what type I would need. I've heard I should go deep cycle, sealed batteries. He has some deka Intimidators but they're like $140. Now if I can use a regular group 31 (not sure what that means exactly) then I would go ahead and possibly get one from him. But yeah, sealed & deep cycle. Yes? Or is there any other kind I could use which doesn't give off fumes?

Edit: Name brand soean't matter much as long as the quality and dependability is there.

tell them you want a sealed group 31 battery, i had 3 batteries before C&D technologies, similar to a hc 1400 or something around that range, my voltage now is a ton better with my 2 group 31's than ever with the others.
