1985 Buick Regal Limited Build Log

Recommended Posts

Well I haven't been posting a ton of pics of the frame because the body work all starts to look the same, and you can't really make out any progress. But thought I would share how it has come to this point as of this past weekend:

We are going to go back over the frame one last time and hit a couple rough spots and then it should be on to high build primer!

We need more pics!!!!

What exactly would you like more pictures of? I have tons of extra pictures....but the body work on the frame all kind of starts looking the same and you can't really tell any visual difference in the pics.

Hopefully if everything continues to go as planned we should have the frame painted this fall and start assembly of all the rolling chasis. Still a lot of work to do in terms of Interior/body work on the car itself. Painting all interior plastic parts, finishing off some of the fiberglassing, molding under the trunk lid, installing the moon roof, molding the firewall, etc, etc, etc.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well frame work continues...should be spraying high build primer within the month hopefully if everything goes as plannned. Otherwise my chrome core support should be done soon, and my new rims have been ordered and are in the process of being powder coated. Also was shipped these last Friday:

Stainless box head bolt engine bolt kit. Will probably end up polishing them out prior to install, but always prefered the look of these bolts over OEM.
