Went to kicker corp.

I recently had the opportunity to go to the kicker eadquaters in Stillwater,Ok. I toured the

facility and had a chance to meet some great people. Kicker is a little different then most

companies I've toured, The owner actually works their and has been known for packing loadind and unloading merchandice. Very different from the norm considering most owners retire from working when they get financially wealthy the owner here thinks of his bussines as a hobby.

The new warehouse was partiially design by the employees , owner believes in including his employees in dicisions made their, also knows his employees by name,family members, and situations at home. WOW i must say i was impressed,I have worked for many places where my boss only cares about daily opperations and how much money i can make them. Yes i know

nothing is built there and its imported but for a company that big the way they run things is amazing, the love and care both owner and employees have for their job (hobby) it makes it

a place where one would love to work at. There rooms for testing are pretty unique and their

museum is really nice (still in the works). After my last blog on kicker I believe that they didn't get a fair chance and that they are a quality company. I am not saying they have the best products on the market of they dont stop transhipping or any of the things heard about them, I am saying Its a good company to work for and that the employees and owner love what they do and have a great eviroment for it. Thank the people at kicker for taking their time and that other manufactors ivite me to do the same.peace out

This is great to hear. The importing for a company is usually frowned upon for most people but with a great work enviroment it ensures great products. Even as they may import some things if the employees and owner did not care for their job they wouldnt assemble things so well. Great work enviroment also count for something when it comes to the great lifestyle we call car audio. If they didnt care for their jobs we would have products that look completely trashed because of shitty assembling. Thanks for the information there Hookup.

I have been there too!! I toured right as they were moving in. I went to the old and new facilities.

The night I was there, there were BAD storms all night. The girl at the hotel let me know if something like a fire alarm went off during the night, get down to the safe room immediately. After 3 hours of non-stop hail and high winds, I was wishing I could just go ahead and get in the safe room so I could get some sleep

Awesome place. I have worked with 2 of the engineers there on a couple of OEM system prototypes. Fun to work with!!!

I have always been in love with Kicker and always will be and hope to make the trip there myself.

Just think I have been a Kicker lover since day one for me back in my mid teens getting to hear my brothers system with the yellow labeled Kicker subs.

I can't wait to get there.

Had the chance to meet Gary Biggs privately once but was stressed after a trip and pissed him off through an Email and never got to meet him and that is one of my biggest regrets in my life.

Real nice guy though as he still sold me one of my Alma L7s after everything happened. I hope he will let me apologize in person but he won't take any of my Emails these days but he is also very busy.

He just wish he knew how truly sorry I really am.
