dc level 3 vs 2-dc level 2

I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has had the dc level 2 subs. I can't find much on them. I have spoken with rusty about some options but im still on the fence. Right now I have two kicker cvrs 12" in a sealed box right at 4 cubes with displacement. That box is pretty close to my max size of my trunk I think I could get about 5 cubes sealed but thats wall to wall in my trunk. I think I could get close to 4.5 cubes ported. I love the sound of my sealed box but I just want something bigger and better so I was looking to try a ported box because I have never had one and I want something that would have more output. So I was thinking either two level 2 12 or 15s or a single level 3 15 ported. I have never had anything other than the cvrs in the sealed and none of my friends have any beat so I haven't heard any different setups. I have a fosgate T500-1bd the newer one. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

the 2 subs will give you more cone area and should be louder, i think either way you will see an improvement and be happy.

My vote is a Single 15" Level 3. If you build the box right and power it well you'll love it.

Is there something I should be looking at? Im open for anything, but my amp that I have is the one im stuck with right now because im in med school. So it as to sound good on about 800 watts

thats what I figured and the level 2s are more sensitive so if I understand they will get louder more easily. Correct me if im wrong.

its not that they are more sensitive- its that they have much more cone.

the lvl 3 is a much better woofer than the lvl 2 my vote is also for a single lvl 3 15"
