port size question

Recommended Posts

nope not true at all.. doesnt' work that like... if it did, everyone would have 10ft long ports.. i've found that in my car tuning a few hz under the resonance fq, which is 44hz is best so far, still trying to figure it all out

every car and every sub is different, like the subs i have DD 9512g i hear like bigger ports than most other subs, don't know if it's true or not..but im trying it out.. and ill keep doing that until i either figure it out, or accidently get it right :)

port area and length of the port are 2 very different things. more port area does mean louder a lot of the time but it all depends on the sub and box and how "big" your talking.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
