There is no way we're going to carry Kicker's higher end shit...and I stress Shit. Anyone who wants to argue with me should try to get their hands on numbers from circuit city when they started carrying Kicker products, and you'll see their return and exchange rate went through the roof...so those of you who want to argue kickers "quality" should take it to someone willing to believe your BS. Sorry to any Kicker fans I disappointed, but the truth hurts. It's not going to happen right away, they're going to gradually phase out RF, and start bringing in the Kicker stuff...lets just say my excitement is far less than most.

i guarantee they will carry just what they did at circuit city. you can get at best in store CVRs and a kicker 1000.1, with a component set of kicker KS. The great thing about Kicker though for you best buy guys is they give you accommodation on all of their products, not just what they sell like RF. RF wouldn't give out power series amps, but with kicker you can buy a SoloX and a 2500.1 etc. at cost. Anyone who did installs at C city would remember how cheap kicker gave stuff away.

i bought some kicker comps form circuit city only kicker products i had and they were great i realized after i got rid of them that i clipped the shit out of them everyday for like 6 months and they never got warm

but i don"t think i would buy kicker again because seems like everyone has or wants kicker and think its the best thing in the world (especially L7's) and bringing them back to a local store is gunna make more kids want them

best buy was super overpriced on the rf stuff though it was like 6 or 700 for a t1000

They don't really sell high end RF products anyways. I went there before and looked at all the RF they had and it was decent but nothing special. Agreed that I would also only purchase some RCAs from there or small wiring. Everything else is overpriced, so not like anyone who shops there is going to be missing out that much.

(because its the closest job a barely 18 yr old can get to car audio, no shop is gonna hire me especially when the economy is this shitty)

the only nice thing about it is i dont have to see it rotting away on the shelves because they charge soooo much for it.

but when i dug into see what we were going to be carrying i remember seeing a 400.4 something like a 450 and the biggest amp was a 750.1

they will have comps cvrs and actually L7 (but i really doubt it will be a in store item Probly have to order it)then some 6.5 6x9 and i think 5.25 speakers

BTW. if anyone worked at circut city and knows what kind of accomodations were gonna get from kicker let me know cuz im pretty excited if we can get good stuff for great prices.

(to all of you who hating on all the big brand stuff, i understand i would way rather run the real stuff, but i really just cant beat the price that i get it for!)

ok so here is the run down as far as i have heard... yes i work at best buy, we will be carrying kicker at the end of May. And the highest rf amp that we carried was the p1000.1bd which we got for 285.. not too bad for a rf amp id say. Bad thing is the highest sub we carried was the p3s. Im not too sure what kicker products we will be carrying but im guessing maybe the L5s along with the 1000 watt kicker amps. and yes we get one hell of a discount off of car audio stuff there. 4 gauge amp kits are only 23 bucks for me and 30 ft of 12 gauge speaker wire is under 4 bucks! so our discount is awesome just not sure about the kicker things we will carry.. so long rockford.
