sphinxbccp Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 DAMN! i just saw the other post.... i fail! i work at a compeditor store of best buy and received a email today: "After a 10 year run, Rockford Fosgate has chosen to sever their relationship with Best Buy. Im sure youve all seen the change in focus at Best Buy with regards to car audio. Best Buys focus is shifting to connectivity (cell phones, MP3 players. Bluetooth, etc.) and vehicle safety (back up cameras, etc.) and no longer aligns with Rockford Fosgates focus on high performance car audio. Best Buys current inventory of Rockford Fosgate products will be sold though at the normal pace over the next few months until its gone. There are NO blow out pricing moves expected! This is a great move that you as the independent retailer should capitalize on! This further proves Rockford Fosgates commitment to the specialty retailer base. As a side note, Rockford Fosgate is NOT going into any other nationwide retail chains! Yes, I know the rumors persist. They are just thatrumors." this made my day!!
