Austin175 Posted January 27, 2010 Report Share Posted January 27, 2010 just need some advice on this i heard it puts out 3000 at 2 ohm so if that true would this amp be alot better an more efficent for my xls then my hifonics which is 3200 at 1 ohm kia spectra 4 door HU-a kenwood kdc-692x optima red top under the hood ( kinetik battery or powermaster in the back ) Iraggi 260amp H/O alternator 1 set of knu kandy 1/0 guage wiring kit ( 2 more sets coming ) front speakers - back speakers - 2 12" lv 4's with lvl 5 softparts ( going to be 4 in near future) Sundown 3500d( going to be 2 sometime ) i have boughten from - Bass14(smd), ddbump(caraudioclassifieds) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Team_DC-Derrick Posted January 27, 2010 Report Share Posted January 27, 2010 i thought the hifonics was pretty much the same exact setup as the ap Features 2 x 600-Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms 2 x 1100-Watts RMS @ 2-Ohms 2 x 1600-Watts RMS @ 1-Ohm 1 x 2000-Watts Bridged Mono @ 4-Ohms 1 x 3200-Watts Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms AP is pretty much exactly the same, just lower power.. corrie32 Posted January 27, 2010 Report Share Posted January 27, 2010 The Hifonics Colosuss will out perform the Ap3000, so you should just keep what u already have i love this sh--t man 1966 Ford Fairlane Pioneer prs 80, the big three, with 2 big azz agm batts, dual 270/200 amp alts , two 8'' mids and tweets in the kick( PPI phantom 600.2). two 10''s and tweets in the doors, two 10'' mids and tweets in the rear decK ( Lanar opti 500x2). 2 C2 Audio Threatcon 4 12s on a Crunch GP3000d.
