I've been working in IT for nigh on 6 years now and I've never, ever seen a virus that would 'fry your computer' Besides that if Yahoo got compromised by a virus that infected people just by surfing to yahoo.com (not entirely impossible) do you think it would still be there after, say, 30 seconds? I've never met a virus I couldnt handle. . CaptainzPlanetz Posted January 27, 2010 Report Share Posted January 27, 2010 YUP Same here it happend on both of my home computers I had something like that before, where the fake virus scan keeps popping up telling you that you need to buy inorder to get rid of it, even though the program is the virus. What I did was very simple and got rid of it, all you have to do is just go to the Control Panel, then System Maintnenace, then restore you computer to a few days ago when you didnt have the pop up, and problem solved. At least it did for me, I have had no problems since and that was a few months ago. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
