EclipseChris Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 i have a cheap car with a cheap setup and i want to deaden some sound and you guessed it, i want a cheap solution. i dont plan on having the car too terribly long so im thinking about bed liner or undercoating and doing it myself. i guess my question is should i coat the inside of my car (i will do it properly) or should i wait till i get a different car and get some good quality hush mat? any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated i resolve to be a nicer moderator. BeatBox Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 Well if you wanna go cheap theres this stuff that is used for roofs, its kinda looks like Dynamat but with out the words lol at HomeDepot for cheap...i would prob do two layers of this stuff for it to work GOOD. Or just wait save some money and hit up SecondSkin

merk_master Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 The technical name for it is Duct Insulation. It is the same as Second Skin Except alot thinner. Do not use any Asphalt based Stuff on your Car it will Fall off and Stink in the heat. hopeful noob
