k3n12ock
Just looking to see if anyone has ever installed an alarm in a 2001 Impala. Mines has the factory passlock crap in it and I've heard it needs some sort of bypass? Just trying to get input from people who've done installs on Impalas. As for an alarm, not sure which to get. I figure most are all the same (feature wise, not quliaty wise). 05 xB - (2) EVIL 18s - (2) BC3500s - NO WALL Channel 1: http://www.youtube.com/k3n12ock Channel 2: http://www.youtube.com/MrK3n12ock2

k3n12ock
Do you know if the bypass works with other alarm manufacturers like Autopage? Audiovox? 05 xB - (2) EVIL 18s - (2) BC3500s - NO WALL Channel 1: http://www.youtube.com/k3n12ock Channel 2: http://www.youtube.com/MrK3n12ock2
Shyne151
i mite be wrong but i think u need the 556uw from directed for the bypass You are wrong... lol Passlock two is resistance based... not transponder. He needs a PLJX or a 555L... something of that sorts. Everything on those impala's is easy... it's all located at the BCM high in the driver kick panel... well other than your ignition wires that are located behind the key switch.... -Installer for Duke's Car Stereo 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix - Ported Eaton M90 S/C, 3.5" pulley, XS Power Headers, 1.9 Rockers, FWI, Poly Motor Mounts, Custom Tune.
