Lefty504 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 is it possible to wire 6 speakers on a 4 channel amp? and are the wiring rules similar to those for wiring a subwoofer... my brother wants 4 6x9 speakers in the rear and 2 6.5 speakers up front. im not doing the install, im just curious. all this is going in a 07 Monte Carlo on a hifonics zeus 8408 2006 Altima 2.5 Alpine Iva- w200 Head unit 2 L7 kicker 12s in a slot ported box tuned to 38 Hz Rf T10001 @ 1 ohm Rf P4004 @ 4 ohms Poineer TS-D161R 6.5" in door panels Pioneer TS-D690R 6" x 9" in rear stinger 1/0 wiring Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The ohm load changes whether series or parallel wiring is used, but you can run the 4 6 x 9's off two channels, and then the other 6.5's off the remaining channels.
