Ok i have a alpine type r 12. dvc..i also had a rockford 1000.bd. if i were to wire the sub at 4ohm putting 750rms to it would it sound better(CLEAN and low) than if i wired it at 2 ohm 1000rms?

in a 2001 dodge ram single cab

The P1000-1BD is more efficient at 4 ohms as opposed to 1 ohm. However that being said you get the MOST power at 1 ohm.

is 750 watts enough to push a Type R? If it is - the go with that!

are you aware of power compression and thermal limits? Id also like to know how you are going to wire it to 4 ohm or 2 ohm. dvc 4 ohm = 8 or 2 ohm

dvc 2 ohm = 4 or 1 ohm

that amp is alittle to big for that sub bud...unless u got 2 of them then yea...
