It's really inspired me to get back to work on this thing. Running the BL's for a short time (on just one SAZ-3000 for now) I realized I'm pushing these subs pretty hard thermally since they're playing for extended periods of time. I was worried about long term reliability running them off both amps so I decided to pursue a new direction before I start smoking things. I got with scott (sackett) and he built me just what I needed. Two 18" subs built on 4" coil Memphis Madmax motors with 6 spoke baskets, 9" spiders and quad 1-ohm voicecoils. Plenty of power handling for daily beating.
