Slappin F150
Man this is a nice choice of equipment man and great build so far.Is that box going to be strong enough for all that powa? Thanks. and maybe? lol Probably gonna double baffle the front and do some more bracing for the sides and port walls with threaded rod. I hate cutting circles because all I have is a jig saw, and a cheap one at that. I need a router desperatly. Slappin F150
So as I stated I had a el cheapo jigsaw, the thing has lasted e like 3 years, as soon as I say soething bad about it, it breaks. Gah!! But got a lot done! My nifty circle tool lol hill billy enginuity!! Decided it would probably be best to not be lazy and double baffle it. Not too shabby cirlces for a jigsaw FIlled the screw holes and where the port meet the baffles since I seem to not know how to cut straight..? As it sits right now. Resin all inside, gotta dry for like 3 days because its so damn cold here. JBIRD
how wide is your port? doesnt your port have to be whatever the width of your port is away from the back wall to keep correct tunning? just saying i thought thats what ive been told

01 S-10
I believe when you bend one port in 2 directions like that it needs to be half the port width from the back wall on each side. TDH FTW !!!
Slappin F150
I believe when you bend one port in 2 directions like that it needs to be half the port width from the back wall on each side. you sir are correct. Box is pretty much done except for wiring and paint. Waiting for my packages to arrive so that I can finish. I still gotta find me some batteries and an alternator. If it wasnt snowing like crazy out Id start mocking up a bracket to run dual alts.
