yeah i was thinking of going with pyle for my door speakers. before i list the speaker/s, i want to get everyones "generous" opinions on wether or not pyle would be a good company to go with.

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....

1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr.

Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt.

Pioneer 6.5" and 5.25"s temp. until i can afford the new crescendos.

Pioneer 6000ub Reciever

NO amps at the moment. SA-15 on 1kw coming soon.

MSG Me for a free enclosure design!!

Flared port kits coming soon!!

not an "ideal" brand. whats your budget?

i was looking to spend around 150 for drivers and tweeters.

for 4 sets? or 2?

well...what i was plannin to use for my door speaker was a 10" pyle pro midbass...

10'' Paper Cone

2'' High Temperature Copper Clad Aluminum Voice Coil, TIL Bobbin

Linear Phase Plug

100 Oz Magnet Structure

500 Watts Rms / 1000 Watts Peak Power

3 Ohm Impedance

Sensitivity : 100DB

Frequency Response: 65-4KHZ

Mounting Depth: 3.15'

and for the tweeter...

HiVi RT1C-A planar isodynamic tweeter

* Power handling: 20 watts RMS/30 watts max(would power via deck and use a crossover)

* Nominal impedance: 5 ohms

* DC resistance: 4.8 ohms

* Frequency range: 3,000-21,000 Hz

* SPL: 93 dB 1W/1m *

2 mids, 2 highs, equates to about $170.

i like stuff like that, but car audio speakers arent loud/effiocent enough for my listening preference.... im going to sell a sub or two and buy one of those pyle drivers and put it in a tline for my house if i dont like how it sounds car wise.

and theres nothing wrong with a random mix of speakers, aslong as theyre tuned right.

EDIT: i like this set, but i dont like the voice coils on the drivers...http://www.woofersetc.com/p4331/PCC6--Soundstream-65"-Component-Speaker-System.htm

i want an efficent system, that is near $150, give or take $20. any ideas?
