drumminian
Yes you want to line the cracks of the box with silicone sealant by filling a caulking gun with silicone sealant and run a bead along the inside of each joint. but make sure you don't put the subs in the box til it drys silicone will destroy woofers Edited February 9, 2010 by drumminian Quote Alpine CDA-9887 15" FI BL JBL BP1200.1 Rockford Fosgate p142 4" front Rockford Fosgate p1S652 6.5" rear Optima D35 yellow top under hood Big 3 all in a 1997 Toyota Tercel

Neo_frog
I prefer Liquid Nails because it's designed specifically to bond to wood and stays flexible after drying. Quote Need an install? Boon
how will silicone ruin a woofer? The solvent fumes it gives off as it cures can dissolve certain rubbers used in some woofers. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
