i think the best thing you can do is make te box stretch all the way left to right until its about 2 cubes after displacement

then just take the aero straight into the cabin but you wont get any loading like you have now

i also think it might change the sound a lot

you really do not have enough space in there man haha

Im doing 2k,

I dont know what its tuned at right now, If i measure it can anyone tell me,.

plus I dont even know what is a proper frequency anyways.

You're probably not going to like the sound of that 6" port in such a small enclosure (vb<2.0cf). It will have to be huge to tune it to anything remotely approaching the lows. This will present a problem in your tiny hatch. But since you're planning to compete, you will want to tune your enclosure to a higher frequency more similar to your sub and vehicle's fs (resonant frequencies).

If you make the port longer in a given airspace, it tunes the box to a lower frequency. The reverse is true as well. The cool thing about competiton is that your numbers will be largely dependent on the frequency your system is designed to produce. I say tune that 12 high if you want to kill the mic.

Hey bro,

How are you liking the 6" aero on a 12? better results then the 4" ? what was your final tuning and how does it do on music?

You still using the sub up port to the side config?

Thanks

Loudness is no substitute for musicianship, and partial deafness is no badge of honor. I was once able to hear this advice.
