It's grounded through the engine block.

You can just attach the wire to the bolt that screws thru the alt. into the engine block with a ring terminal. That's what I'm going to do to mine when I do my big 3 in spring.

OH well that is how i have it grounded right now... I can still hear my engine through the tweeters.. i dont know what to do...

that could be a rca issue, a deck rca issue (pioneer pico fuse) if you have a pio deck. could be a ground problem where your speaker amp is.

do you only hear it in tweets? disco them see if u hear it elsewhere if not run a ground from H/U to the firewall. If you do then look for a cut in the power wire feeding the amp it could be getting ingress

ground your rca's

but alt to batterie (+) then (-) to chassie then (-) to engine block that shouldn't be your reason for the engine noise tho, if its a pioneer deck then more then im 99% sure its the rcas

It is just from the tweets, there is no cuts in the power wire either! wtf! what do you mean ground my rcas?

ground your rcas you can put a wire around them and ground them or buy a ground loop isolator for like 12 bucks

Do like navi said. Ground the rcas coming off the back of your headunit and it will fix your engine whine. I had the same thing as you with the whine only coming from the tweeters. Cheap fix cured all of my problems.
