Inoevenkea
In another thread i read that factory bose systems are already amplified correct??? If so does anyone know where it would be in a 2000 jimmy or would it be better to just run new wire?? Thanks
emperorjj1
bose tends to be complicated so id run some seperate wire J. JMy CardomainFINISHED COBALT SS/SC DUAL ALTERNATOR PICS theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer
TheDave
With Bose you want to avoid the amp all together. Run all new wires - it might cost more and take more time but it's the best way to do it.

rusty959
I installed a head unit on a 96 or so maxima with a bose system, and the amps were directly on the speakers. I was going to just bypass the amps and run the speakers off the head unit (girl I was installing for didn't want to pay for new speakers or a separate amp) But then I found the speakers themselves were 2 ohm. So, I just used the line-level converter that crutchfield sent and used the factory speakers. 2013 Subaru BRZ12" Orion HCCA on AQ 22001967 mustang restoration project: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110765-mustang-restoration-build-2011-edition/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/therusty959
